Service overview
RCN export support in Togo: exporter approval, importer/exporter card, cashew-sector compliance, phytosanitary documents, Customs/SEGUCE and shipment coordination.
Exporter approval is required
Togo’s 2026 cashew framework keeps the purchase and export of cashew nuts subject to approval from the Comité de Coordination de la Filière Anacarde (CCFA). TCG can prepare, submit and follow up the exporter-approval dossier with the competent cashew-sector stakeholders.
- Confirm the company’s role: exporter, buyer, aggregator or a combination
- Prepare the campaign-specific approval dossier
- Fund official approval charges before filing
- Track observations and collect the approval documentation
Direct purchasing may trigger buyer obligations
If the company will buy RCN directly from producers or aggregators, TCG verifies whether buyer approval is also required. The 2026 framework requires approved buyers and producer cooperatives to deliver at least one third of collected or purchased volumes to local processing units before sale to exporters, subject to the applicable campaign rules.
- Buyer/exporter status mapping
- Local-processing quota evidence when applicable
- CIFAT/sector documentation
- Supplier and purchase-document controls
Prepare the export shipment
The exporter approval is only one part of the shipment. A compliant export can also involve the importer/exporter card, phytosanitary certification, origin documentation, Customs, SEGUCE, port and broker formalities.
- Importer/exporter card
- RCN exporter approval for the campaign
- Evidence relating to the local-processing requirement where applicable
- Phytosanitary and origin documentation
- Customs / SEGUCE / broker coordination
TCG support per shipment
After the initial approval package, TCG can coordinate individual RCN export shipments on request. Campaign rules, official charges and product-control requirements are checked again before execution because they can change.
Planning for India and other destinations
TCG coordinates the Togo-side export workstream. The buyer/importer remains responsible for destination-country import licensing, customs, plant-health and other requirements unless a separate destination-market mandate is agreed.
Frequently asked questions
Can a company export raw cashew nuts from Togo without an exporter approval?+
No. The current cashew framework requires an exporter approval from the competent cashew-sector authority for the campaign. An export cargo without the required approval can face enforcement action.
Does an exporter also need an importer/exporter card?+
Yes, the trade-registration chain includes the importer/exporter card in addition to the cashew-specific approval and shipment documents.
What if the company buys RCN directly?+
TCG first confirms the applicable buyer status and campaign obligations. Under the 2026 framework, approved buyers and producer cooperatives are subject to a local-processing quota before onward sale to exporters.
Can TCG coordinate each RCN shipment?+
Yes. After the approval setup, TCG can coordinate the documentation, Customs/SEGUCE, broker, phytosanitary and other local shipment workstreams on a per-shipment basis.
